A Warm Cup of Coffee to Fight the Coldness of Winter

Black Eye

  • 2 shots of espresso
  • Ground coffee
  1. First, brew ground coffee.
  2. Transfer the brewed coffee in a cup.
  3. Add two shots of espresso.

Gingerbread Latte

  • 1 c. of hot milk or soy milk
  • 1/2 c. of hot espresso
  • 1/3 c. of sugar
  • 1/3 c. of water
  • 1/4 tsp. of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. of vanilla extract
  • A 2-inch piece of fresh peeled and thinly sliced ginger
  • Optional: Whipped cream
  1. Gingerbread Syrup: Get a small saucepan. Put the cinnamon, ginger, sugar, vanilla, and water. Bring the ingredients to a boil. Stir often until the sugar completely dissolves. Lower the heat and slowly simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Get your espresso and place it in a mug. Add the gingerbread syrup. Top it off with heated milk and garnish with whipped cream if you wish. Enjoy!

Espresso Creme

  • 1 oz. of heavy cream
  • 1 shot of espresso

Simply pull a shot of espresso and combine it with an ounce of heavy cream.

Café Bonbon

  • 1/4 tsp. of vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp. of cocoa powder
  • 2 oz. of condensed milk
  • 2 oz. of espresso
  • 2 oz. of heavy whipped cream
  1. Whip the vanilla extract and cream using a hand mixer until peaks form.
  2. Pull 2 oz. of espresso.
  3. Pour it into a glass cup.
  4. Pour your condensed milk into a cup. It should of the same amount as your espresso.
  5. Top the cup with whipped cream.
  6. Sprinkle the cocoa powder on top
  7. Serve this Spanish “candy coffee” drink with a spoon.

Espresso Breve

  • 2 oz. of espresso
  • 2 oz. of foam.
  • 2 oz. of half & half
  1. Steam and froth the half & half at 145° to 160°F.
  2. Allow it to set.
  3. Pull a 2-oz. shot of espresso.
  4. Carefully pour the steamed half & half into a mug, holding back the foam.
  5. Pour half of the foam on top.
  6. Pour the espresso slowly into your mug.
  7. Top it with the rest of the foam.

Spicy Viennese Espresso

  • 1/2 tsp. of allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon
  • 2 shots of espresso
  • 4 ground cloves
  • Whipped cream
  1. Pull two shots of espresso.
  2. Put in a cup.
  3. Mix the ground cloves, cinnamon, and allspice.
  4. Top with whipped cream.

Macadamia Mocha

  • 1 cup of steamed milk
  • 1 oz. of chocolate fudge
  • 1 oz. of macadamia nut syrup
  • 2 shots of espresso
  • A dash of grated chocolate
  • Some toasted coconut
  1. Pull two shots of espresso.
  2. Place in a cup.
  3. Add the macadamia nut syrup, chocolate fudge, and steamed milk.
  4. Top with toasted coconut and a dash of grated chocolate. Enjoy!
